Welcome to Step Out in Tiger Lane at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium!
We Step Out to do our part to Stop Diabetes! Participants are changing the future and making a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes.
Step Out participants are committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because they walk among us in our lives and at the event.
Thank you! Words can not express how grateful we are full all of your help. At Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes, over 1,000 people came together to fight diabetes. It was inspirational to see so many teams, individuals, and volunteers join the movement to Stop Diabetes®. So far, we have collected $75,000! This is a little short of our goal, but we are sure with a few more post-event donations that we can close that gap. We will keep you updated on our progress over the next few months. We know we can do it!
As a reminder, all walkers who raise $200 or more will qualify to receive amazing Thank You Gifts. Visit our prize page to find out if you are almost to the next level and be sure to turn in additional donations by October 31.
Still have offline donations to turn in?
Mail any additional cash or checks to the American Diabetes Association office at 1779 Kirby Pkwy. #1-317, Memphis, TN 38138. Or just give us a call at 901.682.8232 and we can come pick it up! Please include information on which participant and team should be credited for the donations.
This is such an easy way to double donations! If you or any of your donors work for a company that may have a matching gift program, please take a minute to find out. Generally, all that the donor will need to do is fill out a form from the company. The Association’s tax ID number (also referred to as an EIN) is 13-1623888.
Every 17 seconds someone is diagnosed with diabetes. In the minute that it took you to read this email, three more people were diagnosed. The American Diabetes Association and the over half a million people living with diabetes in the Mid-South and West Tennessee area appreciate your support!
Go You! Go Step Out!
