Team Sweet

Merisant Company, makers of Equal 0 calorie sweetener and PureVia all natural zero calorie sweetener, and the American Diabetes Association are supporting the fight to Stop Diabetes® every step of the way. Nearly 26 million American children and adults are living with type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes. How can you make a difference? There are three ways you can get involved and support Team Sweet and the American Diabetes Association:

1. Register for Team Sweet (if you live in the Chicago area)

2. Form your own team (or join an existing one) and participate in a local Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes! With 120 Step Out events taking place across the country, you're sure to find an event near you. Simply click the REGISTER button to the right, find your event, start your own or find an existing team, and complete your registration. IF creating your own team, be sure to select Team Sweet from the National Team pull-down menu when prompted.

3. Make a donation to Team Sweet!
If you can't make a local Step Out event, please consider making a donation to support Team Sweet's efforts to Stop Diabetes®. Simply click the link and follow the easy steps to process your contribution. No amount is too big or too small and will make a difference in our fight to Stop Diabetes®!

Are you a Red Strider? If you're living with type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes, you'll be recognized as a Red Strider on the day of your local Step Out event. All Red Striders will receive a commemorative red hat and will be celebrated throughout the day. And there will be a special red tent where you can meet other Red Striders and much more!
