A Message from Tom Ryan, CEO of SCI:
"It is no secret that our associates are responsible for creating a company that cares. With every new day, individuals throughout the United States are touched by your assistance and genuine concern. In the past, our goal has always been to protect and honor those who live in the communities that we are fortunate enough to serve. Our partnership with the American Diabetes Association now allows us to extend our care to help improve the quality of life for those affected by type 1 and 2 diabetes.
I want to take this time to thank you for volunteering to participate in the "Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes" fundraiser. As you know, this walk supports people affected by diabetes and is held in locations around the country. Special thanks are conveyed to each of you who have volunteered as Team Captains. This walk would not be possible without your leadership. I hope that you can also help me persuade our co-workers to participate on the Dignity Memorial team. Together we can make a difference and help to fight diabetes."

If you have participated in Step Out in previous years, or one of the other American Diabetes Association signature events (Tour de Cure, School Walk for Diabetes or Rip's B.A.D. Ride), log in with your old username and password prior to registering. (If you do not have/remember this information, click on "Forgot Your Password?" at the top-right corner of the screen to have the information e-mailed to you.)

Team Captains: Click the "REGISTER" button below, search for and select your event, then click CREATE A TEAM atop the page. Be sure to select Team Dignity from the National Team pull-down menu when prompted.

Walkers: Click the "REGISTER" button below, search for and select your event, then click JOIN A TEAM atop the page. Enter the team's name (if you know it) and/or Team Dignity in the National Team field, and click Search for a Team. When the team appears in the Search Results, click Join to the right of it.
